Sous Chef Role
Here at the Driftwood Spars we are looking for a dedicated, hard-working and passionate experienced Sous Chef to join our team.
The Driftwood Spars, St Agnes is a 17th Century building with a modern light & airy seafood bistro serving local, fresh seafood. We also have 3 cosy bars which serves traditional pub food, both the bar menu and bistro menu are served from the same kitchen.
The Driftwood spars prides itself on only using the fresh seasonal ingredients sourced locally.
The right candidate will need to deal with raising orders, stock control, creating effective rotas, updating menus, keep an eye on costings and supervise the team of chefs.
The ideal candidate would have worked in a similar role previously and be able to demonstrate a clear passion and desire when creating dishes.

Waitress/ Bar Staff
We are a busy and dynamic pub, bistro, B&B, popular wedding venue and have an award winning micro-brewery as well! Daily tasks include bar work, waiting tables, running food, assisting at events (weddings etc), glass collecting, clearing tables, preparing for service.
Previous hospitality experience preferable, a good eye for detail and being a team player that can take instruction is essential.
We are looking for people with a strong work ethic, common sense.
We are recruiting for several waitress/bar positions, we currently have permanent/ temporary (seasonal) full time and part time positions available.

Own transport is desirable due to our coastal location.
A high standard of personal cleanliness and hygiene is essential.
