We Are Opening The Crib Shack!

With a sunny Bank Holiday weekend on the cards, we have decided to open The Crib Shack for a few days on a trial basis. We are really looking forward to seeing your lovely faces – from a socially acceptable distance of course!

Opening hours will be as follows (please check social media for updates on further opening after the weekend):

Friday 22nd May: 5 – 8pm

Saturday 23rd May: 12 – 8pm

Sunday 24th May: 12 – 8pm

Monday 25th May: 12 – 8pm

Please note that the Brewery shop will be open 12-5 on all four days too, so you may like to combine your visit with a beer collection!

In these strange times we now find ourselves in we have put together detailed info on how to go about ordering and collecting your food and drink safely. Maintaining safe social distancing and strict hygiene will be our highest priority so please be patient with us – this is new to all of us!

Here is some useful information if you plan to visit us:

  1. Respect everyone’s personal space. Please keep a 2 metre distance from people outside of your household group,.
  2. We are operating a one way system. Please take notice of the signs and follow the rules. Any questions please ask a member of staff.
  3. Please use the hand sanitiser provided.
  4. Menus are available online or on the glassboard outside the Crib Shack.
  5. If you can order food and drink online, this can we found on our website www.driftwoodspars.co.uk
  6. If you are unable to order online, please approach the Crib Shack to give your order to the staff, along with your name. We are not accepting cash and contactless payments are preferred.
  7. Food and drinks will be placed on the collection table ready for you to collect. We will call out your name – please allow the staff member to step back and only then approach the table.
  8. Please note that our tables are not available for you to sit at, we are offering takeaway only.
  9. Please note our car park will be open but may be busy. The usual rules apply so please make sure you comply to avoid the penalty charge. When spending over £10 you can park for free for 3 hours.

We appreciated that this is all very far from the usual relaxed and friendly approach you expect from us, but we know you will understand why it’s absolutely necessary to protect us all. Hopefully with your help and understanding we will be able to gradually reopen various aspects of the business in a way that everyone is comfortable with. But for now we hope to see you in the sunshine this weekend!
